This is my Shakespeare page. I'm an English major at St. John's University. This page comes from all the papers that I've done for people for the junior-level Shakespeare course, the assignment for which is to take one hundred or so lines of text and change it into what people would say and do today. Well, this isn't exactly like that. I've found that the gross majority of people have trouble interpreting Shakespeare, and therefore give up on the assignment, and thus give me 100 bucks to do their paper for them. While this just might lead to a decline in my cash flow, I think it's more important for everyone to understand it for themselves.
The small print:
This page is not meant to replace the works of Shakespeare, but is instead supposed to supplant Shakespeare when someone has trouble interpreting him. Please don't take anything off of this site and try to pass it off as your own work. If you do, this is plagarism, and not only can your paper be thrown out, you can be arrested, or I can sue you. Keep in mind that this doesn't give you license to sue me for putting up this site. Everything contained herein is merely a translation, line for line, of work by Shakespeare. Don't sue me, please. I'm not doing this for profit. If you've done something exactly like this, I've never seen it or heard of it. It's just good, clean fun. If you WANT to send me some unmarked bills, then let me know so I can set up a PO box.
We're still under construction, so please excuse the mess. Thanks!
Please keep in mind that I'm a total novice when it comes to HTML, so it might not look too pretty. If you feel like you can help me out at all, please e-mail me. This is ESPECIALLY if you can teach me how to do shifting image links. Thanks.
