Often new puppy owners just want to know how to get off on the right foot in training their puppies.
Occasionally behavioral issues will arise after a significant change in the household.

Consultations may be purchased in either half-hour or hourly increments.
Consultations are priced at $30.00 for half-hour or $50.00 per hour.
TRAINING CLASSES
Classes with Ann are available at The Critter Cottage located at 7617 Staples Mill Road, Richmond, VA.
Classes are one-on-one or semiprivate.
They range from puppy to advanced Obedience,
Special Tutoring classes are designed to help dogs fit into family life.
Payment is easy through PayPal which accepts all major credit cards.
Appointments and Classes are scheduled for the first available day and time that matches your scheduling preferences.
Success in changing animal behavior cannot be guaranteed by anyone. However, if all family members follow instructions, and learn to reward appropriate responses, success can be achieved in most cases.
Dogs view the world differently than humans. If you use gentle, positive methods of training you can help your dog become the best companion possible.
A NOTE ABOUT THE TRAINER:
Ann Priddy has been a successful instructor in dog obedience classes for over 30 years and has accumulated well over 2000 hours of instructing.
She is currently an American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and an American Kennel Club Canine Ambassador. As an AKC Canine Ambassador, Ann is available to speak to schools, clubs, community service groups, etc. about purebred responsible dog ownership and the sport of pure breed dogs.
Additionally, Ann worked in the Admission Department of the Richmond SPCA.
Ann was the co-founder, with Annie Camp, of THE CRITTER COTTAGE.
Her dogs have competed in AKC performance events (and they have placed in many of them). Since 1984 she has been a regular columnist for Front and Finish - The Dog Trainer's News, as well as a contributing writer to many other dog related publications.
In addition to training dogs, Ann is also a well known artist who specializes in animal art and pet portraits.
