This is the starting page to my family's genealogy.
The families that are covered are Garland, Weaver, Myers, Olsen, Krocker, McDermott, Cook, Pace, Tweedy and Kidd. I have included my Step-father Leonard Hodge's family. |

I have been working on my history for over 7 years. In March 2001, I found three cousins on the internet. My Mother gave my name to another cousin, and between the four my family tree has grown. I want to thank Judy Watson, Judi Treutle, Larry Garland, and Calvin Myers. Then in May I found four more cousins and they also added to the tree: Vickie Lewis, Karen Welch, Rose Higgs, and Bev Allen. The research is on going so please check back often to see what new.
I worked on Leonard Hodge's family history for 4 years. I had help from his sister and Leonard himself. His was easy because he lived here in VA, and there are books written on his Mother's side of the family.
Jan 2004, I hope to do more research this year. I had a very busy last year. My family and I moved in to a new home, so that took all of my time last year. We are now settle. So please check back in about 3 months to see the updates.
April 12, 2004: I have very sad news: Leonard Hodge passed away on March 29, 2004 and my Grandmother Mrytle Weaver passe away on April 11, 2004. They both will be missed. July 5, 2007, Sorry, it has been taken so for me to get back. The twins have graduated from High school and I am not working this summer. So next month I plan to do a lot of updating. |
