Scout Bhaban opens

Bangladesh Scouts has opened a round-the-clock control room at Scout Bhaban in Kakrail aiming to create awareness about the dengue fever for checking the epidemic situation in the capital, reports UNB.

Any person, including scouts and rovers, who wants to seek advice about the fever and its protection or donate blood for the patients may contact the control room over telephone number 9333651, said a press release on Tuesday.

Scouts and rovers of various educational institutions are taking part in the dengue protection programme by visiting door-to-door including in slum areas and distributing leaflets to make the people aware of the disease.
