The Moms Offering Moms Support (MOMS) Club is a non-profit support group for stay-at-home or part-time working mothers and their children. Collectively this organization has over 1,500 chapters in seven countries. This page is dedicated to the Portland West Hills MOMS Club chapter.

Our Club offers a wealth of activities for you and your children, including:

Age-Related Playgroups Moms and their children are grouped into playgroups based on the child’s age. Playgroups meet regularly at various venues.

Weekly Activities Moms with children of all ages meet for outings – such as trips to the zoo, park, children's museum, and pumpkin patch – and to activities such as picnics and holiday parties.

MOMS Night Out One night each month an activity is planned where moms get together for an evening of fun. Recent activities have included going out for dinner or dessert and making crafts such as pottery or beading. We also have special interest groups such as scrapbooking and cooking which moms can join.

Monthly Meetings At the monthly business meeting informative speakers discuss topics related to families and children. At the monthly social, both moms and children participate in activities while getting to know Club members.

Gourmet Nights This event allows for conversation, food and fun with other members and their families (including spouses).

Community Service Projects Moms and their children participate in helping various causes in the Portland metropolitan area such as the Oregon Food Bank and The Ronald McDonald House.

What is my obligation if I choose to join?
It's easy! Members are not required to participate in any activity or belong to any committee. Members are only required to serve on a small team which comes up with outing ideas for the children. They come up with 1-2 ideas twice per year. Other than that small task, each mom decides how much or how little participation is best for her and her family.

What is the cost?
Dues are $27 per year and cover supplies, postage, newsletter preparation, national registration fees, etc. The MOMS Club is registered with the IRS as a non-profit organization, and all officers and coordinators are volunteers.

No mother will be left out of the MOMS Club because of financial status. If your family is unable to pay the dues, please contact any board member to have the dues reduced or waived. This information will remain confidential.

We want you and your children to join us. There are always other ways to contribute to the club.

Come and meet us.
Please feel free to attend up to two activities/meetings before deciding whether or not to join.

The Portland West Hills MOMS Club meets the first Monday of every month at 10:30 am. Contact us for meeting location or for further membership information at portlandwesthillsmoms@yahoo.com. To find other chapters in your area go to www.momsclub.org.
