Festival Workshops
Friday, April 17 at 4pm: Acting Boot Camp for Kids
Designed for kids ages 5-12 (although this workshop is open to all ages for
observation), we will explore all aspects of Acting and Drama in this fun
and fast paced Acting Boot Camp! After learning fun warm up games you can
teach your friends, everyone will get a chance to work onstage and explore
how to create a real and believable character, how to show emotion onstage,
learn hilarious improvisation games to sharpen your brain, and most of all,
have a blast in Acting Boot Camp!
Friday, April 17 at 5:30pm: Improvisation for the Camera
Improvisation for the Camera is a fun and challenging workshop, not often
offered but of great value to the Artist. We will use games, exercises, and
improvised group work to develop skills and techniques needed to create fun characters and content for Improvised Performance on Camera, using the students as both the performer and for audience participation as we watch the action unfold on screen. A Question and Answer period will follow the class for open
discussion.
