I never expect that I will end up disabled, broke, and miserable.
In 1988 at Montefiore Hospital (Bronx) I was diagnosed with “gout" some doctors says I have "rheumatoid" arthritis so they prescribed me tons of medicines and strict diet. But none of this stuff really work the drugs are more like aspirin a temporary pain reliever. I even took Vioxx 25 MG. that makes my blood pressure to go up so I stopped taking them.
Twice the doctors though I have "meningitis" because some of my attacks are in my neck and made me completely paralyze. So they did "spinal tap".
in 1997 while working for Century 21 as Commercial/Industrial Investment Manager I was bedridden for 3 months and bedridden again from 1999-2001(3 months before 9/11) My last job with Honda dealership
in Manhattan lasted only 4 months and again was laid off on Jan 28, 2002 due to 9/11 and sick days off. Just on time my SSI Application was approved for $634 a month; my room is already $550.
My SS Disability is on appeal due to 1993 missing document (doctor have stroke clinic closed) when I have over 500 pages of medical reports 7 Specialists & 11 hospitals Adm. Law Judge Heffernan denied my case.
I tried selling pictures and books on 34th Street but police took them away on 8/26 since I only have Tax ID the required ID if you are only selling pictures and books per the NYS Consumer Affair (Vendor Licensing Dept) so I lost my $250 savings intended for my daughter's birthdays and Christmas.
Wife left me in 1998 with our 2 girls (now 13 and 15) here are their Birthday & Christmas wishes.
