| NOTE: You need to know some basic knowledge. So before you start reading this tutorial, make sure that you the basics of IPA (Isometric Pixel Art). | |||||||||||||||||||||
| STEP I: We'll begin by drawing the outlines of our isometric shape. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| STEP II: Great!! Now we've got a cube! But it needs colors. We'll use a nice natural green. The top of our cube is going to be a lighter green. The right part is gonna be darkest part and the left one is gonna be a bit lighter than the darkest. So you should have something like this. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| STEP III: Now we'll add the highlights (inside), and we'll use the darkest green (not black!) for the outline (outside). | |||||||||||||||||||||
| looks much nicer, doesn't it? ^-^ | |||||||||||||||||||||
| STEP IV: Now we've got a nice-looking cube. With soft colors. But just a cube is a bit plain and boring. So we'll create "many, many" cubes together. We'll copy our cube (copy&paste) and then we'll place another one next to our cube. |
|||||||||||||||||||||
| GREAT!! now we've got two cubes | |||||||||||||||||||||
| STEP V: So now you know how to connect shapes. Now you'll have to do the same again and again until you have something like this. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| interesting, huh...? : ) | |||||||||||||||||||||
| LAST STEP (optional): This step is optional. If you like, you can create a black outline. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| I hope you've learned something. ;) | |||||||||||||||||||||
