RIDER PROFILE
So someday perhaps I will have enough pictures to have some local schmoe profiles, or something of the sort. But until then I am going to burden y'all with a little hero worship of those untouchable pros which I have the most respect for .
John Kirkcaldie
Grouped in with "all those fast guys from down under" is this rider hailing
from New Zealand. Maybe it is something about their reverse seasons
that gives them an unfair advantage, or perhaps it has something to do with
the reverse spiral of their bathtub drains, we may never know. Regardless
John K. is one rippin rider, witnessed by his status atop the NORBA Championship
podium time and time again. His smoothness, consistency, and calm
approach to racing is what makes John a winner in my book. Too often
he'll play it a bit too conservative and miss the gold, but you can bet
your butt he'll be right there mixing it up at every race. And considering
that until recent years he often had to hit up World Cup races with little
support (no mechanic and few spare parts) I would say that the now team Maxxis
Rider has made a pretty respectable reputation for himself. Here's
to ya John :)
