Philosophy Jammm is now in its fifth year. During this time, we have discussed and debated topics such as life and death, good and evil, faith and reason, pleasure, beauty, faith and fear and more.

In 2002 we conducted a series entitled ‘Great 20th-century minds who have changed our lives’ and heard speakers talk on Michel Foucault, Gilles Deleuze, Sigmund Freud, Georges Bataille and many more.

In 2003, we continued this series but extended it outside of the 20th Century and also included literary figures.

In 2004 we will consider some of the Great Philosophical Books of the Twentieth Century. Each speaker will be providing an accessible introduction to some of this century's most important books of philosophy.
