2004 Honeysuckle Hundred Update
June 19, 2004 is the scheduled date for the traditional CIBC HH100.
Due to resource issues, the 2004 HH100 will occur as an informal self-supported ride that follows the 2003 100 mile route, with a slightly revised start and finish.
There will be no formal sag service and riders are expected to be self-supporting and/or purchase food and beverage from the commercial stores available throughout the route.
Less than 100 mile distances may be easily created by turning off a various points:
Grandview turn around provides approx 20 miles;
Pikes Peak exit left to Beck's Grove road provides approx 40 miles;
Spurgeon Corner exit provides approx 45 miles;
Kurtz/Freetown exit provides approx 55 miles.
Freetown also provides a northside store for refreshment.
The first sag available is Pike's Peak, Crouch's Market (19 miles);
the 2nd will be Spurgeon's corner (29 mile);
the 3rd available will be Brownstown IGA (64 miles);
the 4th is Cortland grocery (72 miles);
the 5th is Waymansville grocery (84 miles);
returning to the 4H fairgrounds.
Tom Talbert and a few riders will be departing West Hill shopping center at 8:00 a.m.

There are no active plans for the 10, 23, 38, or 62 mile routes used in previous years.

The terrain for the shorter routes is relatively flat, with a few small hills.
The longer routes have a mix of flats, rolling hills, and a few moderately steep hills.
