History of the Original Field Police trupp 419
This Field Police Battalion was attached to the Army Group West during 1944. It was raised in Southern Germany and Austria in 1940 and the ranks were filled from enlisted and drafted Police Officers.
The 1st Battalion, Field Police trupp 541, of the Field Police Troop B (motorized) #419, is the Living Historical Preservation Organization that attempts to accurately portray a part of the feared and respected German Army Military Policeman of WWII.
