Rescues are NOT a source for breeding stock. Most
rescue dogs are spayed/neutered before placement. Reputable breeders will
require you to spay/neuter pet quality animals, if they have not already
been spayed/neutered. If you want to breed, talk to some of our breeder
members about purchasing breeder or show potential
stock. If you are thinking of breeding for ANY reason, other than producing
better, healthier specimens of the breed according to the standard, you
are breeding for the WRONG reason.
