| ANN SCORES 15 IN LOSS!! 02/27/2009 Former Pioneer Basketball League player and head coach Ann Seufer is currently in her third season at Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina. Throughout the season we will track her performance. Hopefully this is a path many of our current players will be taking in the future! The Lady Quakers fell out of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference tournament by losing to Virginia Wesleyan by a final score of 70-54. The game was much closer than the final score as the Quakers pulled to within 6 points late in the second half. Ann Seufer led the Girls from Guilford in scoring by putting in 15 points including 3 three pointers. |

| UPDATES AND THANKS!! 02/28/2009 We have finally updated all our tournament pages. You can click on the link above TOURNEY PAGE to see all the team pages as well as the All-Tournament team page. THANKS to all the coaches who gave so much to all the girls in the league! YOU DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!! THANKS throughout the season go to Brian, Charlotte and Heather Gray who were in the gym every single week helping out any way they could. THANKS to Dave Haynes for all your help. Dave showed up nearly every week and stayed all day to help us. THANKS to Ed Davis for being there virtually every week to help us out. THANKS to all the ex-PBL star players who now play at the upper levels who came out each week to help with the clock, book and stats. Girls, this week could not happen without your help! THANKS to the Buzzard family for helping so many times in the concession stand. THANKS to Pete Whitaker for arranging for the league referees all season.
