-Please be sure to bring your pets inside when you can!
-If thunderstorms approach, pets can be spooked. Many dogs & cats get lost (or worse) in storms. Be sure to check with your local shelter if your pet goes missing after a storm...
-Dog houses for outdoor pets need to be hosed out daily and apply flea & tick treatments if needed..
-Use 'Advantage' or 'Frontline' on pets to control fleas and ticks inside your home and in your yard...
-Flea Bomb your house if fleas get out of control and re-bomb in 2 weeks after eggs hatch...
-Put a good flea collar into your vaccum bag to help kill fleas in the house...
-Please be sure to always provide your pet with plenty of clean drinking water...
-And PLEASE- NEVER leave a pet or child in your car...even with the windows down!!! It only takes about 15 minutes for the inside of a car to reach 140 degrees + in the shade!!! This is cooking temperature people!!! Deadly...and a felony in most states...

Dr. Diana Haynes, (Th.D.) is a disabled US Army Reserve / US Navy Veteran, Certified Spiritual Counselor, Ordained Minister, has a Doctorate of Practical Theology and is an Addictions and Juvenile Justice Specialist, as well as a Forensic Psychology Expert and Special Ed Advocate and tutor. (Not a Vet or DVM / Not a Medical Doctor, M.D. / And not a PH.D. or PsyD.)
Dr. Diana has worked with animals for over 30 yrs! She became a Licensed All Breed Professional Pet Groomer in 1983 and an Animal Control Field Officer in 1989. She has worked for several Vets across the country, as well as bred, raised, trained, tracked with, and handled all types of Hounds; especially Black and Tan Coonhounds.
