As taxpayers we need and deseve a place that we can walk and socialize our dogs off leash. Our taxes go to other recreation uses in our city! Why not an off leash area? I am looking to start a group of dog owners/tax payers that have the same vison as myself! Call your elected officials and recreation department and ask why we don't have one. This can and should be a reality in our community. As a dog owner I was wondering one day, why is it that Woburn does not have a dog park? There is certainly a clear need and desire by dogowners for this use in our city. As dog owners and taxpayers I believe we have a right to a safe place where our dogs can socialize and play safely off leash. Other communities have these off leash areas.
