• NOW - It’s time for Ford people to lead the effort
to STOP the Free Press’s attack on the Big Three, especially
Ford Motor
Company. The FREEP has the
constitutional right to attack Ford, daily, to its readers.
Ford people have the right, and obligation, to STOP the Free Press through any
legal means they have, including
canceling their subscriptions and boycotting the
FREEP’s advertisers.
The Freep has bad mouthed the Big Three every chance
they’ve had. They only report good
things about the
foreign car manufacturers, especially the
Japanese. The FREEP is owned by
Knight-Ridder. Knight-Ridder owns
31 daily newspapers, and has its headquarters in Miami,Fla. They don’t really care about the people
in Michigan,
or the US
automakers.
Ford People -
Ford people are Ford employees, Ford stock holders, Ford retirees,
and Ford suppliers. The FREEP
has waged war against the Ford Motor Company
( and the other US automotive companies) for over 20 years.
Many of us have complained, and stopped
taking the FREEP. This is not
enough. We must get active and
drive
the FREEP
out of business.
• We
will get the people of the BIG
Three to cancel their
subscriptions and stop buying the FREEP at
newsstands.
• We will organize and get all American
Automotive people to stop buying at those stores and services who
advertise
in the FREEP. These methods will
deprive the Free Press of income.
