Mission statement:

Büro für Analyse & Ökologie (BAO) contributes to increasing knowledge and applications in sustainable production and consumption by engaging in research, education, and consultancy.

BAO was founded in 1989 and works with project specific partnerships between Patrick Hofstetter and other partners from universities, research institutes, and consultancies.

Most recent projects:

·         Feasibility study for the Swiss EPA (BUWAL) to extend life cycle assessment methodologies to look not just from cradle to grave but from cradle to cradle (together with Gabor Doka, Zürich).
