| Here I Am Holding My Little Boy Mr. Worf. |
| It all started one day at my daughter (Crissy) apartment In October 2002 I was visiting her and she had a Little Green Lizard in a 15-gallon tank with a heat lamp its name was Jr. and she ask me if I could take it for her because she was having a baby and I said I do not no any thing about them. But being a nice father I said yes so Jr. and me got in the car with the stuff they had for him and drove home. After getting him home I set him up in my living room in his 15-gallon tank and heat lamp. After a couple of days went by I decided to get on the web and read up on my New Little Green Friend. So I did and boy oh boy was I going to KILL! My daughter. The guy was in the WRONG ENCLOSURE! THE LIGHTING WAS ALL-WRONG AND THE DIET WAS ALL-WRONG!! That was just a little that I read so with Visa in hand up to the store I went to buy a nice enclosure and the right lighting. (Because I look at it this way if I take an animal in it will live out it life like it should no matter what.) So $300.00 latter I had Jr. in an enclosure and with the right lighting. So I read and read some more and found out the enclosure that I first bought and paid $300.00 dollars for! Was not going the last Jr. his whole life now I am really going to KILL! My Daughter! It was going to need a bigger enclosure! So off I went again with Visa in hand and $500.00 dollars later I built a 6ftx6ftx3 ½ ft wide Enclosure that was going to last Jr.’s entire life. I was now Happy! It only took me $800.00 to get it right but it was now right the enclosure part anyway. In the mean time my girlfriend Denise was moving in with her 2 sons (Robert & Josh) and their Dog (Max). So off I went back to the web and I was surfing around for a proper diet for Jr. and came across a site that had an adoptions page and I started looking at it and seen there was a 3yr old female iguana for adoption here in my state. So I was thinking about it because I fell in love with Jr. and I did it!! I filled out the adoption papers and sent it in will a week went by and I receive a e-mail for a lady name Stephanie and that was Quazi’s owner we exchanges e-mail and then phone numbers and in November 2003 Me and Quazi meet and it was love at first site Stephanie agreed. So I loaded up Quazi and all her stuff and drove back to Cleveland Ohio where I live. Quazi came with a 60 or 100-gallon tank and lights and heater the tank was to small for her that we know. So the next morning I was Feeding my New Green Buddies and I figure I would see if they got along and they did that was Great! So I put Jr. and Quazi in the same enclosure and watch them closely and it was fine. So I was surfing the adoption site again and hold and behold there was Mr. Worf a 5yr old male and he lived in New York City and his owner’s name was Duke. Well I am really hook now on these Green Guys so I thought about it for a short time a real short time and file the adoption papers well about 3 days passed and Duke got a hold of me and called me and we talked. Duke was welling to drive Mr.Worf to me and then Quazi and Jr. started fighting and Quazi was winning so I had to e-mail Duke back and tell him I could not take Mr.Worf after all because of my 2 and I need to build a enclosure for Quazi and separate them. So I started building and in a weeks time it was done Quazi had her own enclosure 9ft high by 8ft long by 6ft wide and Quazi was happy and so was Jr. But now we are calling Jr. Miss Jr. it was a female. After I got done at the vet’s office… So off I went surfing the web on some more stuff on my Green Buddies and found Mr. Worf again! He was still up for adoption So I had an old e-mail and e-mailed Duke back and said I found away to take Mr.Worf and we started talking again and Duke ask me all kinds of question and I asked him all kinds of Question and in December 2003 Duke drove Mr. Worf to me so the one bedroom that my girlfriends boy was stay in I made into Mr. Worf’s room and move the boy upstairs to my refinished attic. Well this is my story. |
