Your kind words on my tag board always move me deeply I thank you for taking the time to visit me And sharing your love!
Be a queen. Dare to be different. Be a pioneer. Be a leader. Be the kind of woman who in the face of adversity will continue to embrace life and walk fearlessly toward the challenge. Take it on! Be a truth seeker and rule your domain, whatever it is--your home, your office, your family with a loving heart. Be a queen. Be tender. Continue to give birth to new ideas and rejoice in your womanhood. . . My prayer is that we will stop wasting time being mundane and mediocre. . . We are daughters of God--here to teach the world how to love. . . It doesn't matter what you've been through, where you come from, who your parents are --nor your social or economic status. None of that matters. What matters is how you choose to love, how you choose to express that love through your work, through your family, through what you have to give to the world. . . Be a queen. Own your power and your glory! ~Oprah And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others. ~Marianne Williamson Today is our grandson's 5th birthday It has been a very busy summer with 2 of our children visiting us From Asia What a Joy Fest~ Off to scatter joy and embrace my bliss Savor every ounce of summer Life is short make FUN of it Have a safe and happy Canada Day weekend Soon I will hug and kiss my son To understand your parents' love, you must raise children yourself." ~ Chinese Proverb ![]() Tower of Power The Toronto CN Tower turned 30 Visit this site for information on this structure "One of the biggest contributors to low-energy fatigue is blame. The pace is divine. On a pale moonlit night We are serenaded by a crickets orchestra We define our destiny under the stars I bid you hello sweet summer And if God is willing I will welcome you again Next year at this time. ~Written by me Jeanne When I was little, I used to believe in the concept of one best friend, and then I started to become a woman. And then I found out that if you allow your heart to open up, God would show you the best in many friends. One friend is needed when you're going through things with your man. Another friend is needed when you're going through things with your mom. Another when you want to shop, share, heal, hurt, joke, or just be. One friend will say, "Let's cry together," another, "Let's fight together," another, "Let's walk away together." One friend will meet your spiritual need, another your shoe fetish, another your love for movies, another will be with you in your season of confusion, another will be your clarifier, another the wind beneath your wings. But whatever their assignment in your life, on whatever the occasion, on whatever the day, or wherever you need them to meet you with their gym shoes on and hair pulled back, or to hold you back from making a complete fool of yourself ... those are your best friends. It may all be wrapped up in one woman, but for many, it's wrapped up in several... one from 7th grade, one from high school, several from the college years, a couple from old jobs, on some days your mother, on some days your neighbour, on others, your sisters, and on some days, your daughters. So whether they've been your friend for 20 minutes or 20 years, Treasure them, tell them you love them and be sure to realize that God has placed in your life to make a difference. Father's Day When a Father takes a child by the hand He takes the Mother by the heart Fathers build dreams out of paper airplanes Find stars even in the stormiest skies And write symphones from the sound of laughter ~Flavia! Friday, again, and the weeks are flying by One look ahead is better than two looks behind ~Irish Proverb 1. There are at least two people in this world that you would die for. 2. At least 15 people in this world love you in some way. 3. The only reason anyone would ever hate you is because they want to be just like you. 4. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone. 5. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep. 6. You mean the world to someone. 7. You are special and unique. 8. Someone you don't even know exists, loves you. 9. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good comes from it. 10. When you think the world has turned its back on you ... take another look. 11. Always remember the compliments you received. Forget about the rude remarks. The roses, the lovely notes, the dining and dancing are all welcome and splendid. But when the Godiva is gone, the gift of real love is having someone who'll go the distance with you. Parents have very little time for each other, and in the home begins the disruption of peace of the world. ![]() Ah spending time outdoors in Spring I am embracing my bliss!!!!!! ![]() Today begins, the present, the gift The past a memory, the future anticipated Unwrap the gift; raise your heart; Hear life's symphony, and let your spirit soar As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back So Treasure those you have and if you are lucky enough to have people love you ......tell them often how much you love them as well. Our lives are a rich tapestry Of things we have done and said With memories of those we love Outlined in golden thread "If you were all alone in the universe with no one to talk to, no one with which to share the beauty of the stars, to laugh with, to touch, what would be your purpose in life? It is other life, it is love, which gives your life meaning. This is harmony. We must discover the joy of each other, the joy of challenge, the joy of growth." -Mitsugi Saotome I Carry Your Heart by E. E. Cummings I carry your heart with me (I carry it in my heart) I am never without it (anywhere I go you go, my dear; and whatever is done by only me is your doing,my darling) I fear no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet) I want no world(for beautiful you are my world, my true) and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant and whatever a sun will always sing is you. Here is the deepest secret nobody knows (here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide) and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart I carry your heart(I carry it in my heart) It moved me to tears as it always does!!!! We can blame or we can bless; we can judge or we can forgive; we can complain or we can contribute. Those choices determine who we are in the world, and what kind of world we're creating for ourselves and those around us. ~Marianne Williamson first of all in your own house Give love to your children, to your wife or husband, to a next door neighbor Let no one ever come to you without leaving better or happier.
