			We are located in Northern California, about three hours north of San Francisco
		My name is Alicia Welling. I am a senior in high school and currently the only one in my family with rabbits. I raise Californians and have a couple of Holland Lops. Many of my family members have raised a variety of breeds including: Satins, Silver Martens, Lionheads, American Fuzzy Lops, and of course, Californians and Holland Lops. Numbers have varied from over a hundred holes all the way down to one. At this time I have a small number of holes (about ten) and am running a small breeding operation. Unfortunately it is not as easy to learn about color genetics (or as exciting) with Californians as it is with the many-colored Holland breed, but despite that fact, I'm enjoying having a large breed again.    I will only have rabbits for a little bit longer as I am heading off to college in the fall. However I don't think it will be long after my graduation before I have rabbits again.
