Round, wide, ample
cheeks
Ghetto ass epitome
Shake that Bass Booty
There is so much going through my head as I read this.
True, some may view it as a standard haiku, but there is just so much more being revealed within these three lines.
In my opinion, the Justin
portrayed in "Butt, I Love You" is everyone.
We too, are in awe of the fact that there appears to be nothing similar to the beauty that
is "Bass Booty,"
and we too feel the need to express our joy at being in its presence.
Beneath this admiration for Lance's boo-tay is a tinge of regret.
Justin realizes that he will never possess something that he desires so much,
no matter how much he pouts, or whines, over it.
In using phrases such as "ghetto ass epitome," Parlance has, as many have before,
recognized Justin's need to be someone he isn't, in this case, a Black person.
Although we are aware of Justin being Caucasian, we identify with his need to be someone else.
