The Journal Prompt Library
The Journal Prompt Library is a collection of journal writing prompts created by David Kellin.

Journal prompts are simply idea starters for your writing. Most are simple questions that can't be answered either yes or no. They vary in theme and level of introspection. Some are funny, and others are deep. You may chose to answer the prompt as it is, or use it to spark your thinking on a different path. The premise here is to just get the ball rolling. I don't envision that by answering all of the prompts you will know yourself better. that comes from what you write and how you use the prompt.

I caution that the prompts in some categories are adult in nature. Please monitor children and teen use of prompts. If you find a prompt that you disagree, or are offended by, PLEASE move on to the next one. I create prompts for a world audience, and that includes many thoughts and ideas that may be offensive. I am not creating prompts to please everyone. Those watered down prompts don't really inspire much growth. If you are offended, maybe write about what offended you, and how you came to view the issue as you do. Explore and learn.

Thanks for those who have help make the Prompt Library what iit is becoming. Write On!!
