Kelaidiscope

Panayoti, Eleni and Jesse Kelaidis live on a sandy bluff across the street from the city of Denver..

Not far from
Cherry Creek in unincorporated Arapahoe County, Colorado where we enjoy an uninterrupted view of the Continental Divide from Pikes Peak some 80 miles south of us to the Mummy Range and beyond 100 miles or more to the north. On winter days we wake and rush  to watch alpenglow set the peaks on fire (sometimes pink, often orange and always lovely) and often as not at dusk you will  find us admiring the salmon clouds as they  emblazon a cobalt sky to the West.

We pursue our studies, work and interests in a complex maze of travel all over the metropolitan Denver area.

Panayoti is a history buff, especially Byzantine history. He is a lifelong admirer of  Vladimir Nabokov and Antonio Machado. The kids are fond of music (From Beatles and Country to Pachelbel and folk dancing). They read a lot too and are unique among  youngsters  we know in their immunity to the  tube.

Jesse is a student at Jefferson County Open School, and Eleni attends the University of Colorado in Boulder, where she's been living the last few years.
