The Story: This K1200RS has had two owners. I bought it from Steve back in 2004 with 1400 miles. Most work was performed at CC BMW in Edison, NJ. Here is a photo on the day I picked the bike up. I immediately put some highway miles on the bike. I rode to Key West, Ohio, all around the East Coast and to work almost everyday it wasn't raining. We frequented "The Hang" in Manhattan almost every Tuesday. The second photo is in the Florida Keys. I was planning a trip across country when, when a cage jumped out in front of me, turning left with no signal. I did all I could to maintain control but there wasn't room to avoid and not enough room to stop. I did all I could to stop...but there wasn't enough room. The bike absorbed much of the impact but it still threw me into the cage. I got a short ride the meat wagon and I the bike was dragged to a dark garage. I will never physically recover from the injuries but I've promised to ride again. I'm trying to economically piece the bike back together. We've tried our favorite yards: . I don't mind wearing cosmetic flaws but parts must be straight,
free of cracks and mechanically in excellent condition.
I just want to be ridden again, help me and my owner to see the Pacific
Ocean!
