B5 PHOTOGRAPHY NEARS THE END
To our followers,
As some of you may be aware, Yahoo! Geocities, the current service that allows us to update (though it has been forever) and host Battalion 5 Photography is terminating its service on October 26th, 2009. With the termination of this service, Battalion 5 Photography as we’ve been told by Yahoo! will no longer be online for viewing. At this time there is a desire by us to find an alternate host service to try to once again distribute photo and video depicting the brave men and women at work in the Orange County, New York area emergency services.
Though the site has seen a drastic decrease in posting activity by us since Mid-2008 due to other commitments, we would like to extend a large thank you to the countless viewers who made Battalion 5 Photography a routine stop online. Never did I imagine that the small webpage I designed one winter night in late 2006, complete with a whopping 2 fender bender MVA’s would progress into the large and heavily viewed website that was B5 running on all cylinders in 2007. We’d like to apologize once again for the lack of updates within the last year or so.
Battalion 5 Photography has been along the way both a personal accomplishment and headache but all the while a labor of love. We hope to down the line to once again bring back the site to the status it once held. Until then, stay safe and “see you at the big one”.
