| INTRODUCTION Welcome to the website of the Ottawa Valley Branch of the Heraldry Society of Canada. For over 10 years our branch has been a major resource for those interested in heraldry and related topics in Eastern Ontario. Our enviable position in the National Capital has put us at the centre of the Canadian heraldic world, and we host the national reference library of the HSC. Several times a year the branch hosts formal dinners with informative lectures. The branch also has an ongoing heraldry chat group especially of interest to those new to heraldic studies. In 2001, we will host the national conference of the HSC the week of Oct.19th-21st. For further information about the branch or our activities, don’t hesitate to call me at (613) 831-6903.
