At Oroville Recovery Center we take a holistic approach to the treatment of alcoholism, substance abuse and addiction. We offer clients the tools they need to move toward physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. This is accomplished by combining therapeutic and social models of treatment along with behavior modification, twelve step spiritual guidance, physical exercise and balanced nutrition. By drawing from various branches of therapeutic techniques we provide addicts the opportunity to make positive choices for a healthier life-style.
Program Description
O.R.C. is a residential alcohol and other drug treatment facility for women. Our residential program is 3 to 6 months in duration with a mandatory after care plan. Intake assessment and rate of progress determine the length of stay. We offer a family environment including peer support, peer pressure with an emphasis on honesty and honor. The residents are expected to participate in all aspects of their keep such as food preparation, maintenance, grounds, housekeeping, etc. All residents are subject to random drug testing. We offer parenting classes, HIV education, life skill training, aftercare, family support and education. All our residents have an individual counselor they see weekly for private counseling sessions to help assess their progress. After the resident’s first month, the treatment team will review their individual plan and reassess the needs of the client. Regular attendance at 12 step meetings is mandatory. In some cases O.R.C. will accept part payment of the monthly program cost based on a sliding scale.
