Welcome to the 'Operation Appreciation' informational website
OPERATION APPRECIATION is a community service project sponsored by the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity at Kansas State University.
Hundreds of thousands of American troops are stationed or deployed indefinitely in remote parts of the world, including the Persian Gulf, Afghanistan, Africa, the Korean Peninsula and on ships throughout international waters. The physical conditions they must endure are difficult and they may be separated from loved ones for long periods of time. OPERATION APPRECIATION seeks to lift troops' morale, and bring a smile to their faces by sending service members in Iraq a piece of home through Care Packages. OPERATION APPRECIATION's Care Packages will contain food, toiletries, necessities, entertainment items and personal letters of appreciation, all wrapped with good wishes of love and support.
Operation Appreciation was able to collect
$316.60, 931 items and 778 letters of support
Thank You to everyone for their support!
