| There are organizations right here in Oklahoma that want to further discriminate against adoptees by circumventing OORAH'S push for unconditional open records! These diversions are meant to cloud the real issue. Adult adoptees deserve the right of unconditional access to their own original birth certificates, just like every other citizen. Having to prove "just cause" is not acceptable. This continues to deny the adoptee the same status as other Americans who are not required to "prove" their right to obtain their original birth certificates and identity information from Vital Statistics.
