Guard 2004-2005

Odessa is proud to have one of the best Guard directors in Mrs. Lindsey Hansen. Under her direction, the 2004 Marching Season was an unbeaten year for the Color Guard, even taking first place overall at the Blue Springs competition.  Their high-energy performances usually pack the house, drawing spectators from other schools who want to see the best. This year, Odessa will be taking two Winter Guard teams to competition, one from the high school and one from the middle school.  They are also preparing to march in the National 4th of July Parade during the summer of 2005.

2005 Winter Guard Competition Schedule and Results January 29 - SMSU:  First place for both OMS and OHS Guards February 12 - Smithville:  Second place for both OMS and OHS Guards - the quality of their        performances moved each one up into a higher class for competition. February 26 - Hickman Mills (OHS) March 5 - Lee's Summit North (OHS & OMS) March 12 - Blue Springs South (OHS & OMS) April 12 - SMSU (OMS, possibly OHS)
