The OHS Band of Distinction performed twice on their trip to Washington, DC. First, on July 3rd, they performed a concert at the Jefferson Memorial. Then, on July 4, they marched down Constitution Avenue in America's Independence Day Parade. Click here, here, and here for pics.
The Band of Distinction also marched in the Missouri Governor's inaugural parade on January 10th. Pics here After the parade, the band was invited to the gallery of the House of Representatives by Rep. Mike McGhee. At that time, the band and their trip to Washington, D.C. were officially recognized on the House floor.
