Scarred For Life is a York based metal/core band that was formed in February 2000. Agressive vocals, driving guitars, and a hard-hitting rhythm section along with patches, samples, and scratching produces an energetic show.
Influences include: Slipknot, Fear Factory, Pantera, and Korn
Horror Technics has their own unique sound which is comparable to a mixture of Rob Zombie meets Marilyn manson with a hint of Ministry. With their pyro-technics show, wicked effects and stage performance, this in one act that stands alone!
Badhead is a Hanover, Pa group who is truly hardcore. Aggressive vocals, agressive guitar and pounding drums and bass are very cool. Next time you hear of them, make sure you check 'em out cause if hardcore is your thing, you'll love these guys!
Substance is a "classic" metal style of band from the York area. They play covers by groups like: Slayer, S.O.D., and Fear Factory along with incorperating their own unique style in their originals. If 80's metal turns you on..........this is for you
" Immense power, unrelenting rhythms, disturbing samples, and an uncompromising style........." need i say more?
Upinya is a Dover/York based band who's sound is described as "A hard, funky, energetic mix of primus-style bass lines, Snot style guitar, Slipknot/Soulfly style drum beats and Pantera style vocals"..........and you know what? I completely agree!
Felt Side Out is a very cool band that has made quite a name for themselves in the central Pa area. Heavy grooves and energy is what you'll find when seen live. These guys have what it takes to make it in the industry because even though on the harder edge, they are still very radio oriented, and there are also rumours flying around that they will have something to do with "The X Games" on tv!
Plague is a , in my opinion, doom or black metal band who's techinical guitar and bass, and powerful beats, remind me of the 'good ole days' when you didn't leave a concert without being f*cked up for a couple days. You had to earn the right to be there! Want to check out a 3 piece band that brings back that nestalgia? Go see Plague!
