The Wauseon Police Department is proud to become a part of the cyberspace society.  We serve the City of Wauseon, Ohio.  Wauseon -Legacy for the future, is a city of 7200 and growing.  We are located about 35 miles west of Toledo, Ohio and 1 1/2 miles south of the Ohio Turnpike at Exit 34. Our Department is comprised of 33 members.  The Chief, Asst. Chief, 1 Lieutenant, 2 Sergeant, 6 Patrol Officers, 1 Detective/Polygraphist, 1 School Resourse Officer, 1 K-9 Officer & 1German Shepard, 3 Part Time Patrol Officers, 10 Auxillary Officers, 1 Police Chaplain and 5 civilian personnel.
