Mutated Solitaire, by Stacy Vanderworth

-----------------
INTRO:

Game layout consists of 3 different types of piles. Pile 1 (yellow) works exactly as it does in traditional Solitaire: this is the Pile the cards should all end up in, starting with aces and seperated by suit. Pile 2 (green) is the Solitaire equivalent of your row of cards...cards are stacked greatest to least in alternating colors. Pile 3 (blue) is your hand or deck--you draw cards from these piles.

DEVIATIONS:

:::::::Concerning Pile 2::::::
-Unlike traditional Solitaire, Pile2 cards are arranged in 3 rows and 5 columns. (That card to the right of Pile3 is a Pile2 card!)

-Cards can only move from one *row* to another. They cannot move within their own row. However, they can change columns if they are also changing rows. (i.e. it's perfectly legal to move the 1st card in row 1 to the 4th space on row 2.)

-Cards may only move to the row directly above or below them. (That weirdo card off to the side is part of row 2.)

-Cards in Pile2 may only move to Pile1 if they are on the top row; The above rule applies as if Pile1 were another row above the first row in Pile2.

-Once that weirdo card is moved, its slot disappears...no card may be moved to that empty space.

:::::::Concerning Pile 3::::::
-Each Pile3 deck consists of 7 cards. Each deck is dealt with alternating faceup/facedown cards. (The first-dealt/bottom card is facedown...)

-a Player can draw from the faceup cards in the deck.

-Pile3 decks can be flipped: If a King is moved or revealed in any Pile2 space, the row to which it is moved (or in which it is revealed) is the row of the Pile3 deck that shall be flipped.

-Cards are moved from Pile3 decks in the same manner as Pile2 decks: They must move to another row directly above or below them.

-At any time, regardless of whether the top card is faceup/facedown, a player can turn the top card into a Pile2-type deck. (If the top card is facedown, flip it.) Cards may be moved to or removed from this deck following the Pile2 rules. The cards underneath this newly created Pile2 deck are hidden and are not usable until all cards on top of them are removed. The deck only turns back into a Pile3 deck when the top card and all other cards placed on it are moved to another deck. Until the deck is turned back into a Pile3 deck, it shall not be flipped when a king moves into the row. 1
