We have all of these pseudo gospels circulating around masquerading as truth, and we as Christians are feeding the frenzy. Surely, we know the difference. Brush the dust off your bible and look at this scripture: "Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to your care. Turn away from godless chatter and the opposing ideas of what is falsely called knowledge, which some have professed and in so doing have wandered from the truth. Grace be with you." Timothy 6:20, 21 NIV
How can we guard what has been entrusted to us if we don't know what it is? How can we let someone else into our secret place; that we reserved for Jesus alone, and not expect chaos? Who has bewitched you? That's what the Apostle Paul asked the Galatians, remember? (Gal. 3:1) He was contrasting Faith and Law, while here we are contrasting Truth and Lies.
The popularity of the 'Davinci Code', 'The Bible Code Book', and all of these other pseudo books should have been a loud wake up call for the Church.
