Overview of the
United States National Park Service:
Its Much More Than Just
National Parks.
The contents of this site were compiled by a long time seasonal
NPS employee for educational purposes and are intended to provide
the viewer with a brief overview of the United States National Park
Service. During my tour of duty I learned that the USNPS is much more
than just National Parks. In fact, out of 384 NPS units only
54 of them are National Parks; Also Known as America's Crown Jewels.
