HEXHAM MODEL FLYING CLUB
Hexham model flying club mainly fly r.c. fixed wing with a couple of helis and some slope soering. membership is limited to 30, and at the present time is closed. A waiting list ia kept by the membership secretary. However we will always try to accomadate potential members living in and around Hexham. No restrictions on flying times - but mainly weekend afternoons & evenings during summer months. club meetings held at Heworth golf Club every 2nd monday of the month drees code applies ( no jeans , t-shirts or trainers ) . TYNEMOUTH MAC
The Tynemouth club was formerly known as the North Shields Club. They mainly fly free flight and although a relatively small club have had great success in free flight competitions, providing the National F.F Team with 16 places for World and European Championships. Newton Aycliffe Model Flying Club (namfc ) is situated at Carsides farm on the A167, near Newton Aycliffe. We fly mainly fixed wing but have a reasonable contingent of control line and helicopters. Hartlepool is a small club flying from a farm near Hart village. We are mostly fixed wing r/c power with occasional helicopters. The nature of the site means we have to stay small so we give new membership preferance to local beginners not already attached to a club. GATESHEAD MODEL FLYING CLUB
Gateshead Model Flying Club mainly fly fixed wing I.C. power aircraft but there are a few members who have helicopters and / or electric powered gliders. CROOK & DISTRICT Mfc
Friendly model flying club based around the Crook distict of county Durham. Approx 75 members flying all types of R/C models from slope soarers to helicopters.
Experienced help is available free of charge to members, along with our club training equipment and B.M.F.A. approved certification scheme. Grass field located at Ivesley, near to Cornsay Colliery. WEARDALE MODEL GLIDING ASSOCIATION
WMGA  has been operating various slope soaring sites in Weardale for over 20 years. Whilst our agreement with local landowners means that club membership is limited, we welcome day visitors interested in the art of slope soaring.
Flying is mainly at weekends, but midweek flying is possible at some sites. We acticly pursue the popular aspects of slope soaring including scale and PSS.

we are a friendly and informal club drawing membership from all walks of life. We are a fixed wing model-flying club for RC models with IC engines, although several members fly electric. Club flying site is at Craghead, Nr Stanley.
