Hunting for Wild Boar was once considered the sport of kings and has been part of earth's history for centuries. They thrived in numerous countries worldwide and still flourish in many locales today.
The Europeans admired their courage and loved to hunt them. The Romans feasted on Wild Boar at their banquets and the meat was preferred pray of French Kings. Wild Boar meat is excellent when prepared properly and is still considered a delicacy in may parts of the world. The wild Boar is considered to be the most intelligent of game animals and is the unrivaled champion of self-defense.
When you hunt in Florida, you will be faced with many unique challenges from gators to swamps.. To travel to your hunting area, you may need an Swamp Buggy and/or a Airboat. Our guides have all the necessary equipment to get you there and back.. Our Swamp Buggy is equipped with storage areas and cages for hunting dogs.
WILD BOAR hunting is conducted with your choice of Rifle, Bow, Crossbow, Black Powder, Pistol or Shotgun.. If you want a real challenge, try to take a Boar by knife, spear or by sword.
You can hunt the Wild Boar by stalking, still hunting or using our swamp buggy. To assist in your hunt, we have highly trained dogs that will lead you to your game. We have two types of hunts available, Trophy or Meat hogs.. With all hog hunts you are guaranteed a kill, or there is NO GUIDE fee..
When you hunt the Wild Boar, your Guide will be by your side.. Most the time you will have two Guides if there are more then 3 hunters.. As your hunt begins, the Guides will let the dogs loose and your adrenaline will start.. As you get closer to the boar, you will see the dogs chasing the Boar who are running at full speed. You will be so focused, that sometimes you will not even see the dogs chasing the Boars.
But you will have the memorable thought after the hunt when you remember the Guides yelling "WATCH THE DOGS, DON'T SHOOT THE DOGS"" to remind you that the dogs are next to the game when you start firing at your game..
The best of all, you should video your hunt so you can relive the hunt and show your friends.. You can bring your own video equipment or we can arrange for a professional to assist in the filming of your hunt..
Remember, with all wild boar hunts you have a guaranteed kill or there is no fee..
