| Children of Michael O'Riordan & Catherine Murphy (Bill_Sean Donal) Glounreigh, Kiskeam. Corneilus: Nov 26, 1883 married Catherine Murphy (Katie Connie Thady) from Knockerourke, Kiskeam. Paddy/Patrick: Jan 27 1872 Went to Australia & possibly then to USA Dan/Daniel: Oct 31 1888 Died in Ireland Dennis: Feb 13 1870 No information. John: May 29 1879 Went to Boston. John's daughter married a McCarthy ??. I came across a ship's manifest listing for a John Riordan, single, laborer, who travelled from Queenstown to NY on the SS Campania on Feb 17 1900, listed age 21, (making him a couple of months older) listed residence as Millstreet and destination as c/o Denis Riordan, 16 Causeway St, Boston. He was in possesion of either $8 or $18. Coincidence!! Could it be this John? I came across another listing for John Riordan on the SS Cymric manifest also travelling from Queenstown to NY, on 26 May 1900, listed age as 20 which would be correct, destination 323 Pacific Av, Brooklyn, NY, his sister paid the fare and he was in posession of $10. Mike/Michael (I) : Nov 4 1877 Died young in Ireland. Michael (II): Sept 26 1881 Worked for the Civil Service in England. William F: Feb 14 1876 Came to Bronx, NY, USA. and married Nellie O'Connell from Limerick. Julia/ Joanna: Sept 11 1886 No information - probably emigrated to the US Mary/ Minnie: Feb 18 1874. Went to USA- Pittsburg, had 4 children, husband from Galway/Mayo area |

| Kiskeam is a small village in NW Cork just east of Ballydesmond.(Kingwilliamstown) Many of the references to ancestors from Kiskeam may list Kingwilliamstown or Kilmeen as their origins. Prior to 1888 Kiskeam, Boherbue and Kingwilliamstown were in the parish of Kilmeen. The Kiskeam website has more ancestry info/links. |
| Dinny O'Riordan (probably born early 1800's) (came from between Tralee & Castleisland) married Mary Dunne ???? (info yet to be confirmed) and they settled in Glounthaunefinnane,Kingwilliamstown, Co.Cork. They had a son Michael bp. 12 Nov. 1839(?). Other siblings were(?) John bp. 25 July 1838, Patrick bp. 28 Mar, 1842 & Hannah bp.5 Feb 1844. . |
