As you may be aware Ali was seriously injured playing rugby for Tynedale against Fylde earlier in the season.; The injury has left Ali with no movement below his neck, all we can do is hope and pray for improvement over the forth coming weeks and months. A trust fund has been set up for Ali and there are a series of fund raising events in the schedule, log onto www.tynedalerfc.co.uk for details. I decided a good way of raising money is to be up with the current fashions and trends - WRISTBANDS. These wristands have been specially designed in the Tynedale colours of blue and white and embossed with 'SUPPORTING ALI JOHNSON'. The goal is for everyone involved in the sport and anyone who wants to support Ali to wear a wristband. The more people you can recommend to the site and purchase a band, the more we can raise for Ali.
