Phillipe was born in Puerto Rico, raised in New York and studied design at The Fashion Institute Of Technology. He went on to do freelance illustration for DDC Lab and Various publications before becoming Head Designer Of Blond.
David is from Key West Fla. He Studied Fashion Merchandising/ Design at International Fine Arts College in Miami Fla, under the expert tutelage o Charlene Parsons. For Ten years David dressed the windows and the interiors of retailers such as Saks Fifth Ave. and Macy’s Herald Square prior to becoming the creative Director of Blond.
For this Collection the Blonds were inspired by visions of Glamour, flesh, and fantasy- everything from the blonde Bombshell starlets of the Golden age to Mythological creatures, like the mermaid, siren and fairy. The Blond Girl is an individual that satisfies her appetite for fashion with stiletto heels and an attitude. She skips from uptown to downtown as the city is her playground. With a unique sense of style and attention to detail Phillipe & David Blond create tasty morsels style palette.
Each piece is hand made and one of a kind, embellished with Seashells imported from exotic parts of the world parts of the Globe to, "fine as sugar" Swarovski crystal detailing. Having a serious fashion fetish of their own, Phillipe & David understand a woman’s needs, Especially with the year round party gridlock that goes on in our fair city. The Blond girl has one thing on her mind, a good time.
