| Our Mission The Northwestern University Chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists is a student-run organization that seeks to provide quality programs and services to students interested in Journalism and other media-related fields. The organization serves to strengthen the ties among Black journalists, other journalists of color, and different media-based organizations. NABJ-NU seeks to expand recruiting activities and encourage youth to consider careers in the firled of journalism. NABJ fosters an exceptional group of aspiring professionals that honors the excellenece and outstanding achievements of Black journalists and the media industry as a whole. The Northwestern University chapter is committed to serving Black students within the Northwestern University community and beyond by promoting the field of journalism as an exciting, viable career option. |
