The 1st Pathfinder Squadron (Provisional) is a fictional bomb squadron based on the real unit which flew day pathfinder missions for A-20 and B-26 bomb groups during World War II in Europe from February 1944 to the end of the war. From June 1944 this squadron also led night missions. It was activated on February 16, 1944, under the command of Major Robert A. Porter at Station 485, Andrews Field (Great Saling). The first mission was on February 21, to an airfield at Coxyde, Belgium, during Big Week.

The 1st Pathfinder Squadron (Provisional)  uses the B-26 variant Martin B-26 Marauder: The Wingless Wonder of the board game B-17: Queen of the Skies by Avalon Hill, owned by Hasbro. "B-17: Queen of the Skies" is a Trademark of Hasbro, Inc..
