| Geisha couple. This was created using Marvy Matchables ink pads as well as Brilliance ink for overstamping. The geisha image was inked first with Marvy dye-based inks. A second image (texture) was inked with Brilliance inks and stamped directly on to parts of the geisha image. The geisha image was then stamped onto white glossy cardstock. More images were stamped with dye and Brilliance inks, and the card was stippled with dye inks. All images by A Stamp In The Hand, except for "texture" image (Magenta). | |
| This is another A Stamp In The Hand card. | |
| The paper for the kimono was hand-decorated using Hero Arts stamps and Ancient Page inks. The kimono was then folded and layered on handmade papers and cardstock. A custom chop seal was imprinted as a signature. | |
| The stained glass koi (JudiKins) was stamped and embossed onto white silk. The silk was painted with Dye-Na-Flow inks (Jacquard). The silk was then adhered to origami paper and layered on various cardstock. | |
| Another painted silk card. The image (PSX) was stamped using Crafters ink (Colorbox) and heat set. The image was then painted with Dye-Na-Flow silk paints and layered onto handmade papers and carstock. | |
| Another silk painted card. | |
| The heart stamp was inked with dye inks and stamped three times without reinking. "Happy Anniversary" was also stamped with dye inks. | |
| The "Build a Dream" stamp (Club Scrap) was stamped using Memories black ink and heat set. I used sticky note paper to mask off various edges and used a direct-to-paper method to apply the color. | |
| The word background was stamped using Radiant Pearls. The image was stamped using permanent ink and heat set. The image was then colored with Radiant Pearls to give a "watercolor" look. The image was mounted on cardstock, and some beads and embroidery floss were used to accent the card. | |
| The "LUV U" image was created by photographing four tile coasters with Polaroid Time-Zero film and manipulating the image using a stylus. The image was scanned and printed using an inkjet printer and layered onto various colors of decorative paper and cardstock. The heart charm was put onto a jump ring and adhered to the card using a round paper clip. | |
| The peacock image was stamped onto acetate using black solvent-based ink and dried. The glitter (Art Institute glitter) was adhered, one color at a time, using Dries Clear glue. The foil was then adhered using Amy's Magic foiling glue and varigated foil. The dark green cardstock was folded, and a circle matching the size of the peacock image was cut out of the front. The card front was stamped using a peacock feather image (Rubber Stampede), and jewels were glued to the four corners of the card. The corners were cut using decorative scissors (Fiskars), and the peackock image was adhered to the inside of the card and covered with more cardstock. | |
| I created my own purse template so the purse would fit into an A2 envelope. I used direct-to-paper to color the purse, and stamped with a small flower (Hero Arts) and bee (Magenta). I put drops of glitter glue into the middle of each flower. I used an eyelet to look like a snap closure, and used Velcro to close the purse. Both sides of the purse are decorated. | |
The following are tumbled stone tiles stamped using permanent inks and sealed with matte acrylic sealer.
