I was shuffling my tarot cards and a cluster of four fell to the floor.
The cards presented to me by way of "uncontrolled" means was the Hermit,
falling from tower, woman surrounded by swords and the Wheel of Fortune... I
was thinking of letting those be the cards because "the spirit" knows
better than me... I was thinking of the concept of letting things take their
course, of not influencing events or outcome, of the events and outcome being
bigger than puny little me. I was ready to accept that as an inescapable reality.
Then I got mad at myself. I thought, "I don't want that kind of shit and
I'm allowed to reject a reality presented to me by uncontrollable falling cards":
That means that if I let things do their thing without my personal influence,
it would fall to shit... I started thinking of how I am allowed to think for
myself and allowed to do things my way, and allowed to choose what I want and
don't want. I thought those things while I continued to shuffle after I put
the four cards back in the deck.
The cards deliberately pulled this time, with intent, was The Hierophant and
the Moon.

so my heart feels like its being broken or pierced by three swords, three males.
the men I most love, and I know they love me, but I sometimes don't believe
that, hence the five of cups, three are spilled, "crying over spilled milk"
two are not spilt yet not noticed.
the odd numbering is reflective of chaos, of disorder, of my world being influenced

I have gotten the three of Swords many times on this subject
there are three men involved in my quest of erotic healing and development. Does the rain signify a release? The day of htis reading was the rainyest since last winter. So much rain. I have so much to express, I wish to rain also, to flow... and the flow is stoppered at the sexual level, at the erotic arts level, where as a youth I couldn't express myself without being misunderstood.
If I follow the line of passion, the unfoldment of love, the liberating healing

the cards I decided on for the four directions, before I drew them, were from the second pile after I cut the deck.
the cards in parentheses are the "legal" progression, the ones right under the significator and cross...
My lesson with this is to trust my intuition, even if it seems to "go againts the grain". It is not usual practice to pick from the second pile after two cards instead of lifting the next card under the second card.
I was also thinking of cutting the cards three times, like other people do, but decided not to do that after the first cut.
The lesson is to not "blindly" follow traditions, or methods the same way each and every time. Methods of divining has to be able to flow witht the present current, there is a "inner bell", or little voice, or guiding spirit, that alerts at a particular juncture in reality. Like a crossroad. It's a turning point, a pivot, a wheel linked with other wheels, like clockwork, sort of.
I have forgiven myself for not listening to my Self last January when we got broken into. I heard that voice so loudly, but the doubt monster won out. Or something in me decided to not heed it. I think it was a something out of balance.
My intuition is true, and I have enough evidence that I can actually really and truly believe in myself. I totally believe in my Self now too.

The Lovers at the top are representative of the HGA, the "male" and "female" sides integrating into one, the Two of the One. The inner dualities merging within each me n my partner, and the outer manifestation that is created by our integration of creative energies.

5 - Goal 15 THE DEVIL - Self-awareness
Materiallity, material force, material temptation; sometimes obsession, especially
if associated with THE LOVERS.
The Devil is one of the most striking figures of the pack; a macabre (in some packs androgynous) figure, his image dominates the card. Man is represented by the two figures tethered to his pedisal. But look carefully, their bonds are not secure and they could easily slip through them.
This card holds a warning: the individual is not trapped, but merely thinks
he is. You can liberate yourself from the chains that bind you and beat the
devil within. The Devil never disappears entirely, but you can counteract his
influence by being aware of your weaknesses. Don't rely on others or allow yourself
to be tempted into lazy, self destructive ways.

6 - Near Future QUEEN OF SWORDS
A graceful woman of grey hair and light-brown eyes. Intensely perceptive, keen

deceitful,unreliable, though with a good exterior.
The Queen's severity suggests someone who has suffered. She may literally represent a widow or merely someone who has suffered a loss.

less resentful and therefore more humanitarian. Perhaps you need to forgive
and forget; bitterness can be a canker of the spirit. Be careful that no one
is taking unfair advantage of you, but also be honest with yourself, consider
your own actions. These may be adversely affecting other people. If this is
the case, the consequences are not irremediable. The symbolism of ressurection
in this card indicates a second chance.

Skill, wisdom,adaptation. Craft, cunning, etc.
The Magician presides over all the suits of the Minor Arcana and may call on them to further his own progress and development. His hat bears a horizontal representation of the figure 8 - the figure attributed to Hermes in occultism. The Magician is original, creative and flexible but he is also very cunning and capable of manipulating others for good or ill.
This card suggests that you should not be apprehensive about taking positive and determined action. Weakness of will and an unoriginal approach will impede progress. You are in a strong position to influence others; be compassionate but forceful.
Always depending on neighboring cards. Sometimes occult wisdom.

opposed to that of THE LOVERS. In the mystical titles, this card and the HIEROPHANT
and the MAGICIAN comprise the three Magi.
Although the Hermit has aquired sage-like wisdom and experience during a long life, he continues to seek truth. His lamp symbolyzes his continual quest for knowledge. Occaisionally he may withdraw from the world but he also realizes that too much knowledge can become a responsibility, and is therefore willing to put it to practicle use by counselling others.
The Hermit stresses the value of wisdom; he may use this either to his benifit
or that of other people. He warns you never to assume you know everything there
is to know. Keep an open mind in all situations and be receptive to new developments.
Perhaps you should withdraw and assess your situation critically. Be cautious
in your actions and discriminating in your choice of friends and colleagues.
The Hermit's ability to stand back from a situation allows him to remain flexible
and avoid stubborness.
