I was not a super-energetic/healty kid. I frequently caught cold, had stomachache, and even suffered from asthma to see my pediatric every month. So, I was more involved in cultural (i.e., non-sporty) activities such as calligraphy and piano lessons.

After having entered Tsukuba University at the age of 18, I extended my activities to orienteering, jogging, hiking, and playing tennis. There were no cultural activies in Tsukuba rather than sports. Of course, I also studied as hard as my classmates did. :-)

While I am already in 40's, I am still keeping these sports plus working out at the closest 24hr fitness and jogging along Lake Washington Blvd.

Seattle is an ideal place to enjoy outdoor sports. Among a bunch of national parks and forests, the Snoqualmie alpine lakes and wilderness is the closest and best place to go.
This is only one I can play better than average. I started skiing when I was three. If I am asked how better I am, I should say "I'm an experienced skier (but not an expert.) This is because
I experienced breaking my ski, boots, poles, and leg.
Welcome to my personal page!

My name is Munehiro Fukuda. I was born in 1963 in Sagamihara, Japan, a 25-mile southwest suburb of Tokyo. I grew up there till the age of 18. Then, I started my moving habit. So far, I changed my address 14 times. In 2003, I settled in my current condominium at Kirkland, WA. (Continue to the right column.)
I like tennis, but can't improve my tennis techniques no matter how many tennis lessons I took. I know I need much more practice.
