Welcome to our webpage!
This site is dedicated to the history and singing  ministry of the Mullins Family Singers of Dickenson County, Virginia.

The family's public singing ministry dates back to the early 1930's when our great-grandfather, Dock P.Mullins first taught his children and grandchildren to sing harmonies on the front porch and around the fireside.

This ministry was further expanded when Dock's son,Hie A. Mullins formed the Mullins Family Trio with his wife, Frances Dutton Mullins and son Billy Gene around 1946.
The family soon caught the attention of many churches in the area through a long-running  sunday morning radio broadcast over station WNVA in Norton, Virginia.

For over 60 years, the family has sung at numerous church services, memorial meetings, funerals and community gatherings throughout the beautiful mountains of Southwest Virginia and surrounding areas.

Through many ups and downs in this life, the family has sought to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ Our Lord, and share in the hope and peace that comes through and by Him and the plan of salvation.

Although many of the original members of the Mullins family have now passed on, the musical legacy still continues.   We are very proud of the place where we come from, and we hope that future generations may gain insight from the gathering of this history.

Check back with us often as we plan to add more features and updates as time goes by

Thanks for visiting.

Oh come let us sing unto the Lord! Let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
