Concerts in the Park

Spring will soon be upon us, and with it comes a monthly treat.....Concerts in the Park. During the months of May through September, we will plan to provide the entertainment at suppertime, that is 6:00-8:00pm, on the third Thursday. Pack a picnic*, grab a blanket or some lawn chairs and head down to City Park. For 2008, those dates are

June 19th:The New Apostles. Local gospel talent. These guys were amazing last year and promise to inspire us this year!

July 17thThis date is open presently. Contact us if you know of a performer.

August 16th: Fort Gordon Army Corps Band will present a great show!

September 20th A Little Jam. Singing some of the favorites from last year and some rockin' new ones!

*Local restaurants are offering special take-outs for concert-goers, plus we will have Cool Shavings serving up shaved ice, non-alcoholic tropical drinks, soft drinks, hot dogs and candy. Save room for dessert!
Lin's Wok Box: Sesame chicken w/rice, eggroll, drink.....$6.00
Kendrick's Sandwich Sack: BBQ sandwich, potato salad,drink.....$5.00
