Magic Interactive Encyclopedia support is being discontinued by WotC. They will not produce any more updates - the Judgment update is the last update. Support will end on Dec 31, 2002. All of the patches and updates will be removed off their website. Read it at the WotC site.

An un-official Onslaught update has been released at MTGPlay website. MTGPlay version 1.1.333 has been released to support morph ability. An updated version 1.1.336 is now out. (It is recommended that you backup your 'magic.mdb' file. That is the file that contains the magic card set descriptions, image path addresses, and your deck lists. This is the file that is modified when you run an update file. The actual file name with extension is "magic.mdb". The file size will be 5MB+.)

Microsoft has released a security patch for a vulnerability issue with computers using MDAC 2.1, 2.5, and 2.6. (MDAC = Microsoft Data Access Component) This vulnerability does not affect computers using Windows XP. If you used any of these MDAC updates to make MTGPlay work, please download the security patch. Read it from the Microsoft website. Download the actual patch.
